How To Check The Ratio Of Your Triumph Differential

In our opinion the best way is to mark the propshaft input flange and one of the output halfshaft flanges. With one rear wheel on the ground and one jacked up turn the wheel and count the number of turns of the propshaft for one turn of the wheel (the halfshaft)

  • Less that 3.5 turns = 3.27:1
  • More than 3.5 turns = 3.63:1
  • Slightly less than 4 turns = 3.89:1
  • Slightly more than 4 turns = 4.11:1
